Our Under 12s are Headed to the European Championships in Barcelona 😱🤩🥳

We are incredibly proud to share that Fiesta, our Under 12s team (with our youngest athlete just 8 years old!), will be representing Burton on Trent and Cosmic Cheerleaders at the European Cheerleading Championships in Barcelona this summer. For such a young team, this is an extraordinary achievement. These athletes may be small, but their determination, courage, and teamwork are anything but.

For months now, Fiesta have been dedicating their Sundays to training. While most children their age are spending weekends at parties, relaxing at home, or playing in the park, these athletes have been in the gym - practising stunts, cleaning routines, repeating sections until they’re sharp, and pushing themselves to improve week after week.

They show up.
They listen.
They try again when things don’t hit.
They encourage each other.

That kind of commitment at such a young age is something truly special. As coaches, watching them grow - not just in skill, but in confidence, has been incredible. To compete at the European Cheerleading Championships is a huge achievement. Fiesta will be stepping onto an international stage in Barcelona representing not only Cosmic Cheerleaders, but Burton on Trent and we already couldn’t be prouder of them.
